Spring Fishing from Mar. 15 - Apr. 22
Our spring trips take place on Boyd and Jackson - two of the best fisheries in NE Colorado.
Spring fishing provides some great action for walleye, white bass/wipers, trout and crappies - with the chance at trophy sized fish. This is a great way to start the open water season and get some nice fillets for a spring fish fry.
Trips last 5 hrs and cost $350 for 1 angler, $50 each additional angler
Summer Fishing - Northeast Colorado
We guide on some of NE Colorado premier fisheries including:

Frequently Asked Questions
What type and size of boat will we be fishing out of?
I fish out of an 18' Lund Pro-V powered by a Mercury motor. Able to fish 3 comfortably.
What is provided on a trip?
We provide all the fishing gear needed, livebait if needed, boat safety gear, bug spray, cooler with ice and water - you can bring snack or other non-alcoholic beverages, fish cleaning.
What do anglers need to bring?
Fishing license (if required), sunscreen, proper clothing (including raingear), additional food or water, camera to take lots of pics, and PPE (if desired or maybe required based on CO rules at the time)
How do I book a trip and is there a deposit required?
To book a trip you can call or text us at 303/829-3998. We will discuss what dates you're interested in or what specie you want to catch. There is a $100 deposit to hold a date, this can be done over the phone or sent in the mail.
Do I need to be a seasoned/skilled angler?
No. We take everyone from first time anglers to experienced tournament anglers out on trips. I actually really enjoy teaching beginning anglers how to catch more fish.
Can we keep fish?
Yes, we allow each angler to keep enough fish for a meal. Usually 2-3 depending on the species we are targeting and regulations for that lake. We will clean the fish and put them in a plastic bag for trnsport.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. I've spent many year teaching kids to fish and enjoy having them on the boat fishing. Sometimes it's even easier to have someone else teach certain techniques to your child.
Do you have any deal for people booking multiple trip in a season?
Yes. We've got a Fisherman Package, that includes tackle pack and a discount for anglers wanting to book 3 or more trips a season. Please call for more information.
Where will we meet?
Normally we meet at the boat ramp parking lot or the dock at the selected body of water.
Can we pick a specific species to target or technique to learn?
Yes, we may recommend the hottest bite but you are able to specifically ask to fish for one specie. I also enjoy teaching people how to become better anglers, so if there is something you want to learn let me know when booking the trip.
Can I bring my own tackle?
We have everything you will need (except fly fishing gear), if you'd like to bring your own rod and reel or a small tackle box you are more than welcome to if you want.
What is the cancelation policy for weather?
Weather is always changing in Colorado, if a trip is canceled prior to launching due to weather we will reschedule you or refund your trip.
What is the cancelation policy for health/illness?
If you call ahead to notify us you are sick we will reschedule your trip. If the guide determines any member of the party is sick at the time of meeting or at anytime during the trip the guide has the right to cancel the trip without a refund of any funds already paid. With the new Covid concerns we have to take this precaution for the members of the current trip and future guests.
